Louis Vidal (1831-1892) - prachtig beeldhouwwerk in gips, bronzen patina, dat een majestueuze leeuw weergeeft die loopt en brult.
Louis Vidal:
beeldhouwer van dieren, blind. Student van Barye en Rouillard. Hij begon in 1859 op de Salon. Hij kreeg een medaille van de 3e klas in 1831. Aan het einde van zijn carrière werd hij in het ziekenhuis opgenomen in de Quinze-Vingts, waar hij stierf.
